Deutsche Bank Research is responsible for macro and microanalysis within Deutsche Bank Group and acts as consultant for the bank, its clients and stakeholders. We analyse relevant trends for the bank in financial markets, the economy and society and highlight risks and opportunities. Deutsche Bank Research delivers high-quality, independent analysis and actively promotes public debate on economic, fiscal, labour market and social policy issues.

You’ll be joining Enterprise Risk Technology, which is the technology partner to the Risk divisions of Credit Risk, Market Risk and Non-Financial Risk. This includes definition of the Information Technology (IT) strategy and the provision of solutions to allow Risk to manage all aspects of Risk.

Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing customer needs, issues and improvements to the current platform and business processes
Defining and driving product/team backlog items, including Features and User Stories within an Lean-Agile Team
Researching and working with teams to generate solution options for customer needs and issues, including associated costs and benefits, with emphasis on maximising the value delivered
Prioritising and executing improvement work, working closely with stakeholders, users, Business Analyst, Developers, System Architects and Production Support
Performing root cause analysis around high priority areas
Managing deliverables, issues and dependencies to ensure successful delivery
Managing a range of stakeholders in the delivery streams and line functions

Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in business and functional analysis in an investment banking role (in particular, within the risk domain)
Lean-Agile delivery experience as a Product Owner working with SCRUM, Kanban or Extreme Programming teams, Product Management and User Experience Designers
Proven track record in delivery within the Risk domain (Model Risk ideal), delivering complex products, working to tight deadlines and flagging potential problems at an early stage
Excellent knowledge of full lifecycle management and experience of engaging with multiple global stakeholder teams, along with an ability to demonstrate practical usage
Strong technical foundations and knowledge of databases, SQL, Jira and Excel
A motivated self-starter with an ability to succeed with minimal supervision
A strong team player with the ability to create trust with various teams (business and IT), but also able to take ownership and deliver independently
A certified Scrum Product Owner or equivalent from a recognised professional Agile framework organisation would be beneficial
Knowledge of the model risk domain, end-to-end workflow and the various governance controls
Experience in data science/machine learning would be beneficial
