Digital Product Owner
Location: Moorgate, London
Contract type: Permanent
Hours per week: 35
Salary: circa GBP 38,000 per annum (including London weighting)
With 2020 shaping up to be a hugely exciting year for the British Red Cross, our Digital Product Owners will be at the heart of key initiatives, including bringing our ambitious new organisational strategy and 150th anniversary celebrations to life for our supporters and strengthening our use of digital within schools to educate on first aid and humanitarian principles, creating a richer online experience.
We're adopting a 'product mindset' across our digital estate and are looking for Digital Product Owners to help us develop and pilot new digital products as well as maximise value from our existing portfolio of web, mobile and voice products and services.
What you will be doing
Working closely with internal stakeholders from across our Communications and Advocacy directorate, you'll develop and drive the vision and roadmap for a portfolio of digital products aimed at engaging and inspiring our supporters about our brand values, mission and impact. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the products are delivering greatest value for the British Red Cross and its users.
You will be working in a fast-paced and constantly-evolving environment. In any given week you may be facilitating workshops to uncover business objectives, working with user researchers to better understand user needs and pain points, designing tests to validate hypotheses, working with delivery teams to create the next iteration of the product...or all of the above!
As part of a new discipline helping the broader team and organisation effectively govern, prototype, deliver and run digital products and services, you will shape what it means to be a Digital Product Owner at the British Red Cross, creating a culture of data-driven continuous improvement.
