About the team
Our Value Added Services (VAS) Product teams builds and delivers Globally available products for our customers that reduce costs, increase acceptance and are driven and informed by our breadth of data. Working closely with customers, we build products that enhance their payments experience for all parties involved; from interface, to advanced subscription and recurring capabilities, to machine learning decision engines and beyond.
What you will be doing
As a Product Owner within the Value Added Services team, you will be an internal and external champion driving the creation, management and development of products that provide top and bottom line benefits to many of the largest eCommerce merchants in the world.
You will be working within the VAS Product Management team, which is focused on building and maintaining best-in-class products, capabilities and services to support our global eCommerce business customers’ needs. You will be able to:
Provide the internal voice of the customer for the team and work with Product Managers, Customers (as well as other Product Owners) to constantly understand and communicate their needs and participate in the validation of the delivered Features
You as PO will be heavily involved with Product Management in program backlog refinement and prep for PI planning
You will deliver (individually and across sub team) high-quality and timely functional and non-functional business requirements
You will interpret external requirements (such as scheme mandates and other programme changes) into user stories and detail that can be well understood by the development team
By partnering with System Architect/Engineering and other stakeholders, the PO has the primary responsibility for building, editing, and maintaining the team backlog.
You will review and reprioritizes the backlog as part of the prep work for Iteration Planning, including coordination of dependencies with other Product Owners.
Collaborate with their team to elaborate details of user stories with acceptance criteria and acceptance tests.
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, technology management or related field, or equivalent work experience
Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders with various requirements
A proactive nature, being able to take on multiple tasks and manage to completion, working on several initiatives in parallel
The ability to communicate and present cross functionally and deliver both high and low level information to differing business units
An intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in the ever changing, dynamic market of a complex industry as well as a high level of self motivation to ensure products of excellent quality are delivered in the most timely manner as possible
Added bonus if you have:
Experience as a Business Analyst
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) Certification is a plus
SPO/PM (SAFE Product Owner/Product Manager) preferred
