Director, Product Management

Planning and execution of product roadmaps with a special focus on Wealth Management workflows based on knowledge and experience gained from historical and future interaction with WM clients and internal stakeholders
  • Work directly with Proposition, Development, QA and Content Management on product deliverables and serve as a resource to sales and account management on client facing meetings/initiatives
  • Develop a detailed understanding of content and workflows core to the Wealth Management business as well as the wider business platform strategy
  • Manage the requirements gathering, development and deployment of key Wealth Management applications
    • Engaging with customers and other Refinitiv Subject Matter Experts
    • Working with design experts to fashion the optimal workflow
    • Working with development resource (including 3rd party) to transform requirements into product deliverables
  • Manage the complete product lifecycle including requirements, release plans, release readiness and launch activities
  • Contribute to wider strategic initiatives as a SME with the aim of shaping and evolving the overall WM product strategy
  • Work with strategic 3rd parties who will assist in the delivery of the product vision
  • Collate/review feedback and feature requests to define and manage the product roadmap and backlog
  • Maintain and update relevant product related documentation
    • Work with product marketing to ensure relevant client facing material is available and up to date for the product suite
    • Work with the learning team on supporting documentation and/or videos are provided for product launch/support purposes
  • Provide support to the Frontline Helpdesk and Product Specialist Teams for more complex escalations or issues
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
  • Significant past experience in a product management role with primary roadmap accountability
  • Strong client presentation skills
  • Proven track record in delivering high-quality products for a demanding and diverse customer base
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, negotiating and decision-making skills
  • Strong understanding of agile development practices
  • Proven ability to communicate at all levels and work effectively with customers, business, service and technology stakeholders
  • Must be capable of managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment
  • Team player who can work across teams and within a virtual global team
  • Degree qualified
  • Past exposure to Refinitiv content sets and systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of the Wealth Management industry and the various types of firms
  • Familiarity with how financial advisors interact with end investors
